Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga

Our signature class is a gentle Hatha class integrating Vedic wisdom with modern yogic interpretations, creating a practice to help unite body, mind, and spirit. Based on Deepak Chopra and David Simon’s book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga, this practice blends meditation, pranayama, yoga philosophy, and asana. The mindful application of these spiritual laws promotes physical health and emotional wellbeing, success and abundance, loving relationships, and higher states of  consciousness. Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga teaches us both to let go and to have exquisite awareness in every moment. We remember our essential spiritual nature and life becomes more joyful, meaningful and carefree.

Hot Belly Yoga™

Founded by Soul Yoga and based on the book “The Hot Belly Diet” authored by Dr Suhas Kshirsagar. Journey into a sacred space as you detoxify the body, calm the mind and connect through the heart. Ignite the fire in the belly with herbal steam kettles, the practice of powerful pranayama, the use of organic oils, and mindful movement. Enliven yourself and bring balance to all seven of your chakras through music, mantras and meditation. Return the body back to the temple, return the mind to the guru and allow the Divine to awaken the wisdom within. Cool down with the placement of icy cucumber and fresh mint on the third eye and Anahata energy centers.

Gentle Vinyasa

This gentle vinyasa class will guide you through breath-synchronized movements. Physically, sweat expels toxins and re-energizes your body. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes your mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout your body. Set to themes of mindfulness, love, and interconnection with spirit.

Foundations of Yoga

Learn as you move through pranic breath exercises, asanas / poses, and postures. Practice your comfortable connection to mind and body, as you relax into savasana awaking your spirit. The class is infused with the principles of Iyengar.

Ananda Yoga

This gentle healing format is not only a “work out” but a “work in” as we learn to direct our energy inward and upward to our own highest potential. Class begins with a grounding breathing exercise which enables us to tune into a higher vibration together, prior to our revitalizing and healing yoga practice. The use of correlating affirmations in conjunction with the physical poses brings a deeper understanding of ourselves and our practice of yoga. Classes conclude with a guided meditation.

Restorative Yoga

These yoga poses address healing our Chakra energy centers each one relating to different parts of our body, mind and spirit. With a heavenly combination of affirmations, visualizations, and your body being completely supported by blankets, pillows and props, you will feel yourself relax and release into each pose deeply which is balancing and clearing for the Chakras.

Hot Yin Yoga

A slow-paced style of yoga with asanas that are held for longer periods of time with herbal heat infused to create moisture and warmth in the space. Yin yoga poses allow you to get to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is an exquisite technology of human consciousness. Classes include pranayam, kriya, and meditation. Kundalini helps to develop the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of an individual which brings guidance, grit and grace. The nervous system is strengthened, the glandular system come into balance and intuition awakens.

Lil’ Soul Kids Yoga

Explore and learn in a fun, safe and playful way. We honor the innate intelligence that lies within every child, while taking into consideration the how the needs of children, differ from a those of adults. This class is both engaging and interactive, encouraging children to use their imagination as they embody the characteristics of familiar animals and objects. Classes include songs and stories and also support language and vocabulary development, number sequencing, social skills and science concepts, all with a Yoga twist as we learn to communicate with our words and our bodies.

PRIVATE YOGA CLASS – 60mins $80

A formatted yoga class just like a public yoga class, including pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (poses) and deep relaxation, but with one on one attention, offering answers to questions you may have about yoga and assistance or modifications, to maximize the benefits of your yoga practice according to your individual needs.

Obtain balance in your life with a customized program of holistic applications of ayurveda (the science of life), pranayama (breathing techniques), asanas (poses) meditation, textual study, spiritual or psychological counseling, chanting, imagery, prayer, and ritual all to meet your needs. Yoga therapy respects individual differences in age, culture, religion, philosophy, occupation, mental wellness and physical health. Session notes and materials are offered to support your home practice.
